KOH PHETRA EAST COAST. 7°1.740N, 99°28.686E

A spectacular limestone ridge, with jungle-fringed cliffs honeycombed with caves and overhangs, this is one of the main birds’ nest collection points in the area. Anchor near the southeast bay in 8-10 metres. Give Hin Raya, visible to the east, a wide berth.

KOH PHETRA WEST COAST. 7°1.852N, 99°28.301E

The west coast of Koh Phetra provides good holding in 7-8 metres along its length, but avoid the numerous fish traps. There are no long beaches on this coast, but it has numerous caves and small coves ideal for picnicking and swimming.
