The eastern coast is a series of beaches, for the most part, with secure holding in 6 metres on a sandy bottom. This anchorage provides little shelter in the northeast monsoon season. Some provisions are available at the resorts ashore and at the National Park campground on an all-tide beach. The island is crisscrossed with many trails leading to secluded bays and beaches.
